We make specific bolt on camber plates for all years Toyota from 68--->86. There is no need to modify or drill your strut tops. If properly installed and all the nuts are fastened down, they should not make any undue noise. The bearings are teflon lined which makes them self lubricating and helps to reduce noise also!
