Generally they dont blow a head gasket unless they have been badly neglected or abused, the 4A is quite a strong package, however oil leaks around the rocker cover are fairly common and can be easily fixed by replacing the rubber seals.

The 4AG's do get quite a bit of blow by as they age although youre compression does seem a bit higher than the norm, just make sure theres no signs of a blown gasket or gas leak to the radiator and that the oil is regularly changed..if youre not having any problems and the cars running fine then I wouldnt worry too much about the high numbers.
