Realisticaly, alot of engines have about 150psi or 1000Kpa. If all 4 are that value, its a good motor. Your text book may say about 170psi for a new motor, and minimum of 145psi for a old motor. Many motors will run happy at 120psi, as long as all cylinders are worn evenly.

It is unusual to get a reading higher than the manual says, unless you have rebuilt with higher static compression. Check your gauge again.
