Sat, 28 May 2005 09:37 OK, I'm up on all the generations of these engines (Phil Bradshaw's page) I've read that there is no difference in crank, rods or blocks between NA and supercharged versions of a given year (old thread) Can anyone with direct experience confirm this? The question I am getting to is if I build a spare engine, does it matter if I start with a 100kw, silvertop or late ZE bottom end? Or are they all essentially identical (bar pistons of course)?
