My Kinchrome tester was about $95, and came in a case with adapters to fit down any plug tube. I had to have the gauge replaced a few times under warrantee. A compression test is the quickest way to determine how much a job is going to cost the customer, and should be included in every "tune up". Every mechanic needs one.
