Is 38-40 psi a good track pressure? I was thinking alot lower myself, seeing as in track conditions tyres warm up and pressures rise. Probably good for wear I guess, but most likely not too good for grip.
I would say something more like 32 psi all around for a rear wheel drive, perhaps 30/33 front/rear on front wheel drive ( fronts warm up alot more). Dunno, I'm *definitely* not an expert.
Depends what profile you are running, and how heavy the car is too.
