I can't help with 1 and 2...
3. This is a very bad idea. The SC14 is a positive displacement supercharger, which means it flows a fixed volume of air (1.4 litres in this case) per revolution. Now imagine what happens when the blower is spinning at 5000rpm and you back off the throttle - that's a pretty huge volume of air with nowhere to go! You'd end up with an enormous pressure spike which would blow the inlet piping to bits, and a BOV couldn't possibly flow enough air to prevent this from happening. This is why the blower is always downstream of the throttle plate when using a PD supercharger.
4. The 1G-GZE was fitted to various JDM vehicles; it was never available outside Japan, so your chances of finding a workshop manual in English are pretty much nil. However, the SC14 is very similar to the SC12 which was sold in the US, so have a look on EBay for an AW11 MR2 workshop manual. I don't know how much info they have on the supercharger itself, but I'm sure someone else will be able to tell you more.
