with the fines being issued you generally wont get a fine for your usual sorta modified car defects. on another note however if u get done for bald tyres they can fine you and in dry weather give you a nice yellow sticker ordering you to drive the car "directly home" and you must get it cleared immediately. with that there is no 1 or 2 week period where you can drive the car, its just bam go home and no more driving. in wet weather they can give a red sticker and that means your getting a taxi home.
