Hi Jesse, What you need is a "firewire" port in your computer, sometimes firewire is also refered to as 1394. You can pick up a firewire card for your computer that will let you connect your camera to your PC for about $40 from Dick Smith or any computer shop. Is a good/cheap investment if you plan on making more vids. I don't have a MiniDV camera otherwise I could help [Report message to a moderator]
