Clear your head of thought. The Sith use the force for their own personal gain. What benefit (in terms of the greater galaxy) is there in Anakin potentially stopping Padme from dieing? None, other than his own personal gain. Remember Yodas teaching, "do not mourn those who die, but rejoice that in their death they become part of the force" The Jedi are selfless, and use their ability to help others and maintain peace within the galaxy. In what way do the Sith act like this at all? They dont. Every action they take is to enact their own personal lust for power or, in the case of an aprentice, to follow their master's commands. With the Sith in power, there is no balance throughout the galaxy as everything is done for the Emperor (Sith) and not for the people, as was the job of the Jedi to ensure was happening. Yes we can argue until blue in the face - but so far i havent heard enough valid points to back up the idea that 2 sith and 2 jedi is balanced, other than there is an equal number on the good side and an equal number on the bad. Fuck you could read into it futher too... the prophecy is fulfilled in that balance is WHOLLY restored since following the fall of the empire things will go back to sqaure one - there are no power hungry senators and an overly deliberating senate as their were in the rebuplic just prior to ep1..... things go from slightly unbalanced and a little corrupt in the republic, to massively unbalanced with the empire and a reign of terror, to balanced with the fall of the empire and a return to true democracy.... oh.... and for FWIW, Luke DOES NOT use the dark side! Yes he gets a little bit of anger, but pulls back well before actually using these dark powers.... Obe Wan does the same here and there. Luke is the man, yo!
