BMAK - just curious about your fitting of the small filter to the gear case/bearing vent tubes.....On my SC, I can actually blow through the main hose connected to the 3 vent lines. This seems odd to me, as it would indicate there is an air path somewhere from the vent lines to the inside of the supercharger where the rotors are. If this is the case, wouldn't it be a problem venting this to the atmoshpere (even if via a filter?) I would think that this would basically bleed off some boost when the SC is huffing. Then again, maybe the SC I bought is knackered and there shouldn't be an air path from the vent tube into the SC body.....hmmmm, anyone know? Thinking about it, shouldn't the shafts be sealed to the main housing, preventing any boosted air from entering either the bearing area or the gear casing??? I hope I didn't buy a dud SC.....
