hey i have a pretty good custom setup for the ta22 on my 2tg using a newish corrolla raiator. I did it myself and it cost about $250. Its only single core but fits like a dream and the surface area is massive compared to the standard ta22. Really works well and never onerheats, it uses the standard thermo fan and there are no more fan being rammed into the radiator issues, clearence was always an issue.

I used the davies craig thermo swithch and thermostat $70 and i $5 relay, its so easy to wire up and you can adjust the temp very easily.

I found a s-bend pipe for the top hose, no mods here but for the bottom i used an adapter pipe to join the 2 different pipes, quite easy. The radiator is a snug fit but looks lie standard.

I'll try to get some pics and i wrote a bit to JUZZO about this, so i'll see if i can find the thread, if you want pics email me. Poide69@hotmail.com

if you havent already got a new radiator then i'd maybe consider another option.

With a 2tg i found that it sits very close to the radiator, mine got a beating from a little movement on the mounts. I went to a wrecker and picked up a larger single core radiator with a thermo fan from a 92 corrolla (i think)$120 and with a bit of mods, i fit it.

I bought a davies craig thermo swith a relay ($70) and wired it up. It is so much better. I needed a different top hose but it was a simples S shape (free from wreckers) and the bottom hose needed a metal piece of pipe to make the two diffretn hoses fit. I also made a heaps simple cover so that the altanator pulley couldnt tear it to pieces. I modified the top arms from the new radiator to hold the radiator, just cut the tops off to make them fit, real easy. A couple other mods were done, a real basic bottom bount for it to sit on, its pretty easy if you have the time and it looks so much better and my car never overheats.
