I'm not sure when the M block changed.
I can't remember if it was halfway through the 2M or the 4M that things changed.
And lots of things aren't compatible before and after.

But you can get a mid sump from any M-powered Crown.
Whether it be 5ME 5MGE or 7MGE they ar all midsump.
