Sun, 05 June 2005 03:52 i'm not sure if you can tighten the CV anymore now as they might have snapped off the excess. if you did the repair yourself then get another band, if not bring it back to the shop you took it to, and ask them why its that loose. you may need to top up the grease if to much has come out. look at the pic i put in my previous reply, see the bottom left hand corner, look at the underside of that CV boot, see how the grease looks like it is just seeping out? not a good sign mate.
