Take them to a spring shop and ask them them to test their rate - if they come up even, they're fine. My experience is, being Kings, they won't!

To me a dodgey spring is a spring that doesn't last over time, ..., or snaps, ..., or sags, ..., or doesn't perform consistantly over time, ..., or ...
