My contacts in the petrol industry have led me to believe that BP Ultimate and Optimax are exactly the same fuel.
Something to do with both being supplied by the same refinery (Caltex???)
Anyway.... unless your car is tuned to use the extra octane it will make jack all difference to performance, may impact on economy but thats about it.
