What does your oil look like dude? Creamy? Or just normal. Check your coolant as well and see if its got oily deposits. Those are classic signs of BHG.
When your boosting hard and not going any faster.. are you blowing black smoke? If so, maybe one of your hoses have come loose?
Just some thoughts...
