I agree there should be some laws to control stereos, more to the point, people who just drive around with their stereo cranked. As for BOV's, I cant see anything wrong with venting ones, its just if you choose one that amplifies the sound, and you go over the limit, its your problem.
As for the stereo situation...gotta love how Toyotas are so solidly built. My stereo in my car can go real loud, I'm not talking competition loud, thats just stupid. Anyway, its just as loud as my mates stereo...you can here his little Daewoo Cielo as he comes down the road and pulls into my driveway. Do the same in mine and you wouldn't here is till I pull into my carport and it starts echoing off stuff
