There should be a diagram moulded into the plastic relay casing. This will list each of the relay terminals with a number that is also moulded next to each terminal.
You need to have them wired as following, if the pins have standard numbers:
30: Ignition 12V
87: Thermo fan positive wire
86: Ignition 12V (can tap into wire for pin 30)
85: Dash switch
The other side of the dash switch can go straight to the body of the car, anywhere that is a reasonable ground/earth point. when you flick the switch it will ground the coil in the relay, bringing the contacts together for the 12V feed to the thermo fan. You could probably have one relay per fan if you want, and can just split the wire from your switch to each relay. At least this way if a relay fu(ks up you will still have one fan working.
