Sun, 05 January 2003 14:29 I beleive they had a lean burn, stratified charge type head on them, they may have a third inlet valve to a small separate mini combustion chamber that used a rich mixture to ignite the lean mixture in the main chamber. They were introduced in the 70's when the japanese were having to first meet the new emission standards. - I think these engines would be rather limited from a modification point of view.
