Tue, 07 June 2005 11:33 Hi, Yeah, go back and tell them that you're not happy with the workmanship. Make a list of the things that are spilt, missing, put in wrong, etc. Don't get angry or hypo at them. I know it's hard, but you gotta keep your cool. If they refuse to fix the problems or address the issues then politely inform then that you will be taking this incident to the Consumer Affairs (? or something like that). Then go home, write up a nice letter to the CA and if you got a digicamera, take some pics of the shoddy work and include that with the letter. Include a copy of their bill and your receipt - keep the originals. Also, check the place where you got the work done and see if they are a member of the MTA or some other association and send a copy of your complaint to them also. By law, any company which takes money for services must refund or fix any issues that is due to their negligence. Check Consumer Affairs on the net to see if there is anything else you need to do. Also, on the net, check the MTA (or other association) that the repairer maybe a part of. Finally.... stay calm, cool and collected. I know you want to wring their necks, but you'll get a much better and longer lasting satisfaction to have the CA and others poking into these guys affairs and forcing them to fix it or refund. seeyuzz river [Report message to a moderator]
