I'm definitely taking it back there tomorrow - I should've left the improperly replaced parts alone, but i was annoyed at the time and fixed what I could. Will still 'politely ask' them to move the hose in the way of the thermo and replace the bolts that are missing. The boss seemed to be pretty reasonable, at least he admitted to taking the car for a test thrash. The car was spotless when i dropped it off, got it back with mud up the sides... They converted it to a fully synthetic liquid instead of re-gassing, its green in the inspection window. There was a puddle of green something on top of the manifold and you could see where it has been spilled over the headlight covers and behind the bumper. Even if it was just this dye stuff, they should've atleast cleaned it up. The panel beater might be a bit more difficult as they did the repairs over a year ago, but they did say it came with a 'lifetime guarantee' and that the 'repair should outlast the car'. I know not all workshops are bad, I've dealt with a few I'd wholeheartedly recommend! It just seems that the majority of the places I've come across just don't take young blokes or jap cars seriously. [Report message to a moderator]
