I don't know about being hellishly rare but the cosworth head i think is damn expensive to get it into australia.
But as for fitting the 4age head i reakon it'd most likely work out to about the same, if not more, then getting a cosworth head.
If you really want to try it out, the ol' pinto motor from either an escort or cortina is about the same as the cosworth.
Personnely, i don't think it'd fit. But then again a 2tg head fits on a 4y block with some "minior" mods to the head
