Its free, all you do is sign up and add a shopping cart in your admin area.
what happens is you create a hyper-link on your webpage and within the link that you get from mals-e it has you id login and you edit your product and price within the hyperlink.

here is the support page for all your questions about linking your buy buttons to there shopping cart. They have a button creater which inserts all that html info for you which makes things easy!!
