ok complete noob here i have searched and found alot of info, but what i want to know is i have a 85 cressida needs new head so i want to turbo it but unsure wheather to decompress and try turbo the original engine or stick a new one in, now ive looked in half cut mags and apparently there is a turbo cressida in japan, so i assume this is the chaser?? all i want is a simple turbo setup so what would be the best not necciserilly cheapest or fastest just most simple conversion. now im unsure what model and engine mine has but im sure its a 85 now in the mag the engine is a 7mg-det with auto gear box and all wiring would this be a good swap for basic turbo or there are alot of similar from the supra section too all help woud be great!!
