Yeah the immobiliser will have a couple of relays in it, depending on what model it is (better model = more immobolising relays) generally, I think they are hooked up to the fuel pump and the ignition, say the coil or maybe even the ecu, depends on who installed it. I assume you didn't install it?
check for power at a few points with the car turned on. if you can get to the fuel pump then check it has power there, also check the ecu and the coil.
If the alarm behaves normally (IE. once you disarm it and turn the ignition on, it doesn't auto rearm while you're trying to start it, and the LED flashes/turns off the same as it used to) then you may have just broken the wires going to an immobolisation point.
Do you have the instructions from the alarm? they have wiring diagrams in them, usually makes life a little easier. I have a flashpoint in my commodore, can't remember the model, but they may be simmilar enough for me to help you out,
