What do you mean by one load map??
MT/LT series Microtech's are great for 4a engines.
It should have a LOAD map with a heap of reference points to corelate to through the map sensor plug on the side of the microtech. Have you hooked that up?
3Dmode is only for ease of tuning, its no real advantage for power/economy etc. I dont use that part of the laptop software. It's only for the LT(laptop programmable) series anyway. The upgrade is $200 including software and dongle. You will loose your firgures so write them down before you send it in, takes about 2 weeks. I love the laptop software cause you can also datalog and make adjustments in tuning accordingly.
As for the electronic ignition, its great! Very good advantage and alot of power to be gained through it.
