 AE96 brake rotors

first official post on here people...
i want to upgrade the braking of my AE96/101 corolla.
i was told to use 'superstruts' but i cant seem to source the callipars for it. i was thinking if i changed to the 20V larger rotors and used something like bendix ultimate pads would this give a modest improvement in stopping power. would the stock calipars be able to fot around the new rotors also ?
