This engine isn't a 5M-E, but maybe the timing needs looking at. Is there anywhere special I'd need to take it to get the timing sorted out (ideally Newcastle)? It might have been tuned for 102RON or something in Japan.
I'll have to ask Scrote about the SP2 sensor, I think he was the owner of the car when the conversion was done. Does it hurt anything to leave it flashing? It doesn't put the ECU into fault mode does it? Or is that just when an O2 sensor fault code is set? I think some ECUs use a default fuel map or something when some (or all) codes are set.
