I don't think the air conditioning itself is computer controlled on any car. The only part that needs to be controlled is the magnetic clutch which engages the compressor. Not sure about these new fandangled climate control systems, but the only interface with the aircon system is the on/off control for the clutch. This is completely separate to the engine management system though, so you don't need to worry about wiring it up to your EMS.
