Thanks for the info everyone.
So a Mig welder would be what im looking for? im going to be using it for welding in new patches where rust was and maybe even get around to building a go-kart.
I would go try some work experience but cant realy afford to do that right now, need a job that pays 
Although if the offers for a bit of help still stands in a few months i might take you up on it 
What would a decent welder to suit my needs set me back?
