Generally on autos, the reverse light switch is on the gearstick itself, but on manuals, the switch is on the gearbox. Check the two wires you've got on the gearbox for a circuit when the car is in reverse, then you'll have to find the wires that go to the back of the car near the gearstick, probably hidden under the carpet or centre console. If it still has the original loom, there will be a spare plug under there somewhere that went to the auto shifter. You'll need one wire from power to the gearbox switch, then from the other side of the switch to the lights at the back of the car. [Report message to a moderator]
