It will probably be lit up with the dash lights (2 wires), Reverse lights (2 wires), Inhibitor switch to stop the car from starting in any gear except for Park & Neutral (2 wires, but may be on gearbox instead), if there's a dash display of the gear then there's one wire for each position of the gearstick. The reverse lights should work if you had just hooked up of the wires to power (just need to find which one), then just simply hook that wires one side of that gearbox switch (if its the reverse switch) and supply power to the other side of the switch when ignition is in on position (more than likely it's one of the other wires in that plug) [Report message to a moderator]
