gpvm Occasional Poster Location: Melbourne Registered: December 2004	Re: TA22 carburettor Wed, 15 June 2005 13:44 well I had a "pro" look at my carb and he thought that although there was lots of carbon my real problem was the automatic choke wasn't working. He installed a kit to convert the choke to manual. Interesting though, the RACV guy reckoned one of the valves was frozen. Does this sound alright to you guys or am I being taken for a ride? Given the choke is now manual, can I still go ahead with the fuel miser carb rebuild kit as suggested by Jeffro? [Report message to a moderator]
