And Allan just copied mine! It took a couple weeks of hard core research and pottering around skanky wrecking yards to sus it all out.
The RT141 backing plates won't fit over the rather large Hilux central bearing carrier so then you need different calipers to get a handbrake. I did look at it as an option. No good.
Look at Ed's site for the Hilux disc brake conversion. The slack bastard hasn't updated it - there's even a price list in the finished version.
Looks neat.
That said, you still have to ask why do you want rear discs? Unless you are going for a significant power increase, there's not much point.The best upgrade is actually servicing your 30 year old brakes, using good fluid and decent pads.
