The 3T 1800cc was called a TE72 in most of the world but a T18 in Australia. Just remember, the 71 and 72 came in a large variety of body styles that can't be distinguished by the chassis number, the ONLY definite difference between them was 1600cc to 1800cc so a TE71 could be a 2T or a 2TG, a 4 door, 2 door, coupe or liftback. The 2TG versions were also fuel injected, not sure if this would cause an issue for you. Callum [Report message to a moderator]
