Thanks Chuckster, someone on twin-cam forums said it could also be a vaccuum leak. The thing is Ive just had the engine replaced and all asscoiated hoses etc. It has been doing this idle thing since I have drove it back from alljap's. Someone else on twincam said it may be the sensor under the wheel or somewhere?? I think I'll just take it back to Alljap and say wtf!? This aint right! Cheers for your input 
Yes it is a Toyota Corsa one of only 6000 units sold.
It was marketed as either a Corsa GP Turbo, Corolla II GP Turbo or a Tercel (USA). It contains a 1.5 3e-te engine.
Most related cousin is a EP71 starlet. Cheers
