excess (un-metered) air isn't going to help you - i'd just avoid flogging it and keep an eye on tempretures.
if they're a tricky mob they might compare odometer reading and say it all happened since they stuffed the motor in.
your call - but i'd not go too far or hard. Ring them up now (rather than waiting anymore) and book a time (that suits you not them) to come in and get problem fixed.
