I just picked up and placed the Corona Mk2 F series diff I have in the backyard on a set of bathroom scales and it registered 55kg. It's complete drum to drum and with handbrake cable. I'm not very strong but I can't pick up a complete Hilux diff on my own. I'd say it's over 70 kg. T series are pretty lame...any serious power/torque + abuse will lead to a premature demise.
The boys in the US have run 450+ hp thru std MA61 F series rears. The main problem you will find is the lack of quality LSDs for the F series. The Hilux diff on the other hand has a huge range of OEM and aftermarket LSDs. The G series diffs are an order of magnitude stronger again.
I'm not a fan of the Borg Warners for a multitude of reasons - I haven't got anything nice to say about them so I won't say it at all.
