That would be a bit of a backwards step.
A good condition DGV Weber can be had for around $200.
Get a cam ground up (mine is 278deg and its streetble enough) and then stick on a set of extractors and a 2 inch exhaust.
Wind the timing up a bit and I rekon you'll be amused for a while. Thats pretty much my setup and its fast enough.
You'll beat a VL with a "sports exhaust" if thats what you're after
Alot of people under-estimate the 2T, but with a few bucks spent in the right place they make 2TG power or more and are pretty much indestructable.
