raistlin Regular Registered: July 2002	Re: Mysterious oil leak - 18R-G Fri, 10 January 2003 08:06 Mine's got a little drip out of the tensioner nothing too bad but the major leak is coming out of the bottom of the fuel pump. You'll find that an 18R-G original fuel pump is different to an 18R-C one in that the bottom is not sealed. Some seal in the fuel pump is screwed and it's pissing the oil out. I've decided to block the block off at the fuel pump hole with a plate and am switching to an electronic fuel pump. Can you be a bit clearer about the silastic thing you said? I don't quite know where you squirt it in(although yes it does sound very very dodgy) [Report message to a moderator]
