The Witzl's tips:
- Use a logical process of deduction and elimination to norrow down the scope of the problem.
- Check the ignitor is a PROPER GZE item (if the GZE has the twin coil packs and CAS)
- Check the ECU compatibility with Ignition system. Take off the top panel, and look at the labels of the ECU pins. If there is a pin labelled "IGd" then you have an ECU which is to be used with the twin coil packs + CAS.... if there is no IGd, then its a dissy ignition system.
- YOU CAN use a standard dissy/coil/ignition combo from a 16V or early AFM dissy GZE.... you just dont wire up the IGd pin at all.
- CHeck that EFI MAIN relay is working and giving power to the engine and ECU
- Check there is POWER at the coil and ignitor. CHeck the Ignitor case is earthed.
- Does the car have spark plugs? Are the leads ok?
- is there actually an engine in the car, or just some big meatballs in Luigi's spaghetti?
