no reason to balance it, unless you just want to for the hell of it. any special reason why you wanna???
it absolutely needs to be resurfaced if you want to do a decent job!
it almost absolutely needs to be cleaned up or resurfaced on its mating surface to the crank!
those 2 holes on the inside aren't for balancing, but that large one near 11 o'clock in the first pic is.
