1G-GZE Corona Sat, 11 January 2003 05:35 Go to previous message
Hey people,

I have recently been given the old workhorse, A 86 Corona (18R). After looking around for motors that go nicely in it the 1G-GZE seems like a good decision, as I would prefer to have a blower rather than turbo for the time being. With a good Hp figure and obviously a few more add-ons (Exhaust - Cold air induction - Intercooler - Bigger compressor wheel) it should be good fun for going out for a bit of a play as it would be very unexpected.

Only thing is I'm seeing heaps of prices for just the motor ($750 - SSS Automotive) I really don't know about the Loom and Computer prices. As well as the gearbox. I'm Budgeting approx 2K for the motor installation (not inc the Exhaust etc etc)

So I Guess I'm asking about how much should I be looking for computer, loom, gearbox and installation? Is my budget feasible? Has this type of installation been done before on a Corona?

Thanks for your help guys...
