Thanx for replyin mate

I been havin a look over it today and i have to agree, it doesn't look too involved. It's an 18RGU head on 18R block.

I have just got the car this week so still gettin my head around it. I have a Subaru to drive as i plan to restore the RA23 over the next 7 months or so. I want to have it ready, time and money permitting, for the Adeliade Toyoshow next feb.

I don't plan on putting the engine in for a few months. I'm gonna pull the 18R out to salvage a few parts of it for the 18RG. A few of the head to block bolts are missin etc so i'll get it running on the engine stand first plus respray the engine bay too.

The exhaust seems in good nick so i'm hoping to get the extractors fitted to the existing one. Main problems i'm gonna have will be the carbys and emmision controls i think.

Any help would be great, thanx for the offer, i'll PM ya when i'm closer to the date. At the mo i'm just getting all the preperations ready. No point leavin everythin til the last minute.

Cheers, speak to u soon, Pomey!
