Mon, 27 June 2005 02:51 before anyone invests in the hd software and hardware, do a search on the net for a compatability list - lost of titles don't work, or barely work. Without plugging the store I work for too much, acegamestore.com sells brand new consoles pre-modified with complete 12 month warranty, and we also do repairs etc. I really wouldn't do too much of what you read on the net on how to fix your ps2 - especially the parts about laser alignment screws - and especially about adjusting resistance on lasers. Please ask me any questions on this topic as I am happy to help out and deal with these things on a daily basis. I wouldn't get too excited about the streaming of divx etc over a network on the ps2 - that media player is (in my experience) the most un-usable piece of software I've encountered.
