jase Regular Registered: May 2002	Re: top mount cooler mr2 Sun, 12 January 2003 22:29 With an air to air intercooler mounted directly over the engine like that, I'd say you goiing to build an interheater. The heat rising out of the engine bay and hitting that cooler is going to be pretty severe. Even fans are going to push the hot air into the cooler. The standard core does cause quite a flow restriction though, so you may find an improvement still. You can get a different engine cover designed to increase airflow out of the engine bay.......don't know if it will suit your no body kit approach, but it's probably no worse than cutting the current one.
