rob_RA40 Forums Junkie Location: c'town, NSW Registered: May 2002	Re: RA23 BRAKE UPGRADE Mon, 13 January 2003 01:27 you should be able to get a set of two RT132 corona struts for $100-$150 all up, any more and i feel that your getting ripped off. also inspect the strut for any damage, the car could have been in an acco and u dont want to buy bent struts/stub axles. It all depends on how far u want to go with the upgrade: heres a list from cheapest to most expensive 1. bolt in the existing RT132 srtut, twin piston and 10.5" solid disc. make sure you rebuild the caliper and if u can afford it buy new discs or machine existing ones **BE SURE TO MEASURE DISC WIDTH** 2. buy a set of vented peugeot discs, bolt them on and still retain the corona twin piston caliper (fit these via a spacer as the sumitomo caliper is a 2 part caliper) 3. go the whole hog with peugeot vented disc and hilux 4 piston caliper, read the tech article in the articles section of the toymods website. cant think of much more to say..
