I have just finished cutting down the sump on my ae101 4agze. During the process I got the plug rather hot. The plug seems to have some sort of valve in it! Is this normal? if it is do I have to replace it with another the same? or is a conventional bung suffiecient?
I couldn't see the need for the valve myself and wondered whether they are all like that?
