Just a question, when reconditioning your engine what is the difference between a short and long motor?
I rang up repco and did some research on it. They quoted me $2500 for a 94 long reconditioned engine, but the lady wasn't sure of my 3S-GE third Gen motor, she actually quoted me a 5S-FE motor or something (unsure). I was a bit worried about that cause I didn't know that my car could take that engine.
I am wondering what engine the ~92-98 MR2 used.. does anyone have this car or know what type it has in it?
I am currently thinking that I will get a mechanic to remove the engine out and have a look at the damage that has been done to the engine. I will also try and find a engine provider and see if he could hold an engine for 24hours for me, while I wait the news of how fucked my engine is. If it is a lot of money then I will ring up the engine provider and get him to deliver it to the mechanic to get installed.
I just have to find an engine. hehe
